Finally, Apple has officially confirmed the launch of next generation iPhone on October 4. Earlier, AllThingsD sources speculated that the date has been set as October 4 which is now a reality. Through the attachment with the invites, one can conclude that the whole of the event will be about iPhone because it says ‘Let’s talk about iPhone’ with Date, Time, Map and Phone icons.
According to what we have learned so far, Apple might announce two iPhone’s on the same day. One would be called ‘iPhone 5’ and another one as ‘iPhone 4S’ or ‘iPhone Plus’. However, iPhone 5 will be a leap forward in terms of tech specs as well as design and iPhone 4S in terms of internal hardware without affecting the design of iPhone 4. Another iPhone could target the medium range market where people doesn’t able to afford iPhone due to the absence of contracts.
We will not stay behind to expect the next generation iPod touch as well. Apple may have planned to surprise us with a 3G antenna integration in iPod touch. Also, some demo session about iPhone assistance and how iCloud works. iPhone 5 is expected to have A5(dual core) processor, a revamped design, an 8 megapixel camera, no antennagate and much more. Now, all you can do is to wait for October 4 for another flagship device to be unveiled.
